‘Festa Della Pasta’ at Prego, Taj Coromandel

Are you craving to have some simple, traditional Italian food with an unmatched selection of wines from across the world? then this is the right time as Pasta festival is happening at Prego, Taj Coromandal from 10-19 July 2015.

As soon as we got there, I was keen on trying different lights.































Italian cuisine specialist, Luca D’Amora has developed his own style, one that is traditional, with a modern twist. He keeps it simple plating with fresh ingredients and vibrant flavours and says its his home food, what he cooks and eats at home.

We were invited to try the signature Pastas and other Italian signature dishes. The evening started off with Chef Luca giving a live demo on how to make Pastas.







After that we were seated and would say simply blown off with some amazing dishes.

First we were served the
Amuse Bouche.
Potato Beignets, which is a goat cheese cream, tomato coulis and caramelized cherry tomato.
Truffle scented provolone and leek soup with Ortolana and feta cheese.

Then came the
Tomato and chilli flavoured pappardelle with seafood and mushroom sause.











My personal favourite is the Flavored lasagna layered with beef bolognaise.






Then came the Bitter chocolate flavored lasagna and the Chef Luca's signature Tiramisu.




A meal for two at Prego would cost Rs.2000 to Rs.2500.

With a refreshing new vibe, warm service, a menu of traditional favourites and signature delicacies, and an unmatched selection of wines from across the world, Prego reinvents itself as a dining destination.

Commercial assignment done for Curry Home Hurry

Its nice to be back with food blogging since i have been busy clicking various commercial assignments and could not go for restaurant showcases or events. Henceforth will have to visit regularly.

Below is the commercial assignment done for Curry Home Hurry, a fast food type Health food / snack restaurant in Besant Nagar, opening this month. Most of the food and drink varieties are made from millets.
