Lloyds Tea House opened an outlet recently in Chennai on Lloyds Road. We were invited for the CFG Showcase.
The ambiance is really good, one corner had a few couches with a TV on the wall playing IPL, a book shelf with good number of collections, i didnt go near them as i would feel sleepy if i start reading.
They had a separate menu for Tea and another for food. I ordered for Litchi Ice Tea and others ordered Himalayan Wine, Hibiscus and Mango Ice Tea, the Litchie Ice Tea was good though i would like to have a little more Litchi taste in it.
They have worldwide cultures of tea in their extensive menu of 63 teas chosen carefully by their in-house tea connoisseur.
You may click on the images to make it large, err to view it large.
This tiny device is "The Tea Timer", you can make your tea light, medium or strong with this timer.
Then came our main course. Almost all the dishes were too good and it vanished in few minutes, probably because we were waiting for a while and were very hungry.
